I painted Peach Rose because I was drawn to the quiet moment when a flower is still unfolding, not quite open but no longer closed. The peach tones felt warm and gentle without being overly sweet, and I loved how they carried a softness that still felt strong. I focused on the layers of petals as a reflection of slow, natural growth, with each layer protecting what’s beneath while reaching outward in its own time. The gold background was intentional, giving the rose a sense of warmth and importance, almost like it’s being softly illuminated.
